Closing the Gap - Reducing Premature Mortality; Baseline for Monitoring Health Evolution Following Enlargement (HEM) is a project lead by the Epidemiology and Cancer Prevention Division of the Maria Sklodowska-Curie Memorial Cancer Center and Institute of Oncology in Warsaw, Poland. It was submitted to the European Commission and has been accepted among other European Union programs in the field of public health for years 2004-2007.
